Hi, could someone confirm how to write the following in the target expression field? I don't have access to Eureqa until I get home so haven't tried yet. Just wanted to confirm so I can get right on with it after work.
y= f(a, b), f(mCos((2*pi/360)x + (q*pi/360))
x, y, a, and b are in the data. m and q are unknown variables relating to the amplitude and shift of the sine wave.
Just realised how inactive the forums are ^^; For anyone who stumbles upon this post; adding the cos equation as a term works fine. y= f(a, b, Cos((2*pi/360)x + (q*pi/360))
m is unknown and Formulize adds a term there to suit the data anyway so I left it out. I do have a manually calculated value for q which I substituted. But if these were to be specified as unknown terms that have to exist, I presume from the documentation that this could be done using embedded functions with no arguments? Like; f0(..., f1()...)
